Operations Coordinator
(Remote)
This role will begin as a 3-month contract trial period. This allows both sides to ensure the role is a strong fit.
If successful, there is potential for ongoing fulltime.

Overview
We are a growing video editing service working with brands that rely on high-quality social media content. While our editing systems are strong, we’re looking for someone who can help guide social media strategy and operational flow across our projects.
This role sits between the CEO and COO, helping translate strategy into execution while ensuring the team and clients stay aligned. The right person understands branding, positioning, people, culture, and internet trends, while also being highly organized and proactive in managing workflows.
This is a fully remote role with a mix of content strategy, client collaboration, and operational support.
Core Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy (60%)

Research and stay ahead of trends across major platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, Substack, X, Facebook, Snapchat).

Study client personalities, industries, and audiences to help shape tailored content strategies.

Develop content direction and social media positioning for clients.
-
Identify viral formats, cultural moments, and platform shifts that can inform client content.

Translate trends and insights into clear content ideas for the editing team.

Collaborate with leadership on social content strategy and positioning.
-
Provide strategic input during client meetings and project planning.
Operations & Coordination (40%)

Act as a bridge between the CEO and COO, ensuring projects continue smoothly when leadership is pulled in different directions.

Help organize projects, workflows, and client information inside Notion or similar tools.

Assist with meeting preparation, note-taking, and follow-ups.
-
Maintain calendar coordination and administrative support when needed.

Join client meetings and help facilitate communication between clients and the production team.

Ensure teams stay aligned with project timelines and deliverables.
-
Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest process improvements.

Deep understanding of social media culture and internet trends.

Comfortable analyzing people, brands, and audiences.

Highly organized and comfortable working in remote teams.

Strong communicator who can move easily between creative discussions and operational coordination.

Experience with Notion, Dropbox, project management tools, or production workflows is a plus.

Additional Information:

Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, with standard holidays off

This is a fully remote role; candidates based in or near Austin, TX are preferred. Reliable high-speed internet required.

Work Experience Requirement: Portfolio-based

Time Zone Expectation: Be available during standard East–Central time zone hours.
